This policy applies to purchases made through ericeledian.com. Mandatory consumer rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
Digital products
Ebooks, audiobooks and digital bundles are delivered electronically. Because digital files can normally be accessed immediately after purchase, refunds for change of mind are generally not offered after successful delivery or download, except where required by law.
If a digital file is defective, inaccessible, missing from your purchased edition, or you were charged more than once for the same order, contact us so we can investigate and provide replacement access or an appropriate refund where required.
EU/EEA withdrawal rights for digital content
For consumers in the European Union or European Economic Area, statutory withdrawal rights may apply. For digital content supplied without a physical medium, the right of withdrawal can end once performance begins only where the legally required express consent and acknowledgement have been obtained. If those requirements have not been met, your statutory rights remain unaffected.
Physical paperback
If you receive a damaged, defective or incorrect physical book, contact us promptly with your order details and, where helpful, photographs of the issue. We will work with the fulfillment provider to arrange an appropriate replacement or refund.
Consumers who have a statutory right of withdrawal for physical goods may exercise that right within the applicable legal period. For EU/EEA consumers, this is generally 14 days from receipt unless a lawful exception applies. Please contact us before returning an item so return instructions can be provided. Return shipping costs may be the customer's responsibility where permitted by law.
Cancellations
If you contact us before a print-on-demand order enters production, we will try to cancel it. Once production has started, cancellation may no longer be technically possible, without affecting any statutory rights you may have.
